Cutting edge simplicity was key to this project. The client was tech-savvy and wanted to explore the what a totally encompassing smart home system could do for his terraced house.

We installed Crestron customisable lighting controls throughout the entire property. The smart lighting system gave the client single button access to whole home control and mood lighting. Paired with the beautiful Crestron Home interface, they were able to use graphical sliders to change brightness and colour.

4K video was distributed from a central rack to all rooms over CAT6 using Crestron’s award winning NVX AV over IP solution. Highlights include Kaleidescape and other 4K sources. This client is a media fanatic and there were Crestron controlled screens in every room of the house including a basement home cinema and master bathroom.

Audio was made up of centralised distributed audio to overhead speakers paired with Sonos soundbars, Sonos standalone speakers and even garden audio.

Furthermore we installed a central data network backbone with faultless wireless access, as well as covert CCTV hidden in the front door frame to retain the Victorian aesthetics of the building from the outside. 2N video intercom with remote access was added to the front door to allow entry with a single press of a button, all sitting harmoniously on Crestron Home.

We also installed a home cinema room with a 65″ Samsung screen hidden behind a moveable panel, with access to a deep library of films and media.

This London townhouse had a myriad of Crestron controls from 5, 7 and 10 inch touchscreens sitting beautifully in the wall paired with touch screen remotes and hard button remotes. This client as chose the new, flagship, Crestron Horizon keypads with custom made flamed bronze faceplates which blended seamlessly into the decor of the home. They provided the client with total control of their environment.

This was a very sleek smart home with a rich choice of control options and cutting edge technology.
