This large hotel/private chalet in the heart of the French alps welcomes paying customers throughout the winter season. They required an automation solution that provides robust control of the various media sources they offer their guests, as well as management control of the property itself.

We provided a smart lighting system using Rako’s wired lighting system which automated pre-programmed scenes depending on the time of day and activities of the guests.

To make the management system as easy to use for the chalet staff, the building ran several automated programs to trigger lighting changes, audio playback, promotional messages, daily weather and dining information.

We distributed audio and video to six independent zones using a traditional 4K video and audio matrix across a solid wired and wireless networking backbone. Commercial Wi-Fi was installed to balance the usage demands of the guests and the slow incoming internet speeds.

Overwatch security was offered in the form of Lilin security cameras, which are accessible across the globe, giving the owner the ability to check in to the property from anywhere in the world. Commercial grade door entry was installed using a three station DoorBird entry system, with easy programming allowing for weekly code changes.

Rich media options are displayed on the latest LG 4K OLED screens.

Control was provided on a combination of iPads and RTI handheld remotes, offering the guests the freedom to confidently control the chalet media systems whilst offering the staff the ability to trigger management programs at the touch of a button. 

The project was the perfect blend between brand new technology and hospitality requirements.
