Interior design was at the forefront of this project, with the client wanting to have a technology rich solution without compromising on the interior design elements of their home.

We installed Rako customisable lighting controls to the entire ground floor of the house, as well as stairs, landings and master suites. Non-controllable Lutron keypads were installed in the lesser used rooms. The smart lighting system gave the client single button access to whole home control and mood lighting.

4K video was distributed from a central rack to all rooms over CAT6 and beamed on to the latest elegant LG screens, including a bathroom television. A combination of wired and wireless speaker systems were installed making use of existing streaming devices.

Furthermore we installed a central data network backbone with faultless wireless access, as well as covert CCTV hidden in the front door frame to retain the Victorian aesthetics of the building from the outside. Remote access was added to the front door to allow entry with a single press of a button.

We also installed a home cinema room with a 65″ LG screen hidden behind a moveable panel, with access to a deep library of films and media.

This London townhouse had a myriad of RTI handheld remotes and a selection of wall-mounted and floating iPads for control, boasting custom interface designs which blended seamlessly into the decor of the home. They provided the client with total control of their environment, from viewing the baby monitors on the same remote that changes the Sky channel to controlling the kitchen’s underfloor heating.

This project was the pinnacle of fusing technology, control and design considerations to create a bespoke, sleek smart home.
